Why Do You Need a Public Portal?
The EKO-System public portal option provides your organization with a publicly accessible Website for sharing your projects with policy makers, funders, the general public and other stakeholders. Your public portal promotes transparency and supports your ability to visually communicate your most current strategy, goals and project efforts.
Unique Look and Feel
You choose the features and design of your portal. Our portal framework can support a variety of designs and configurations. Our portal designers work closely with you to create a portal that accommodatesyour organization's data and layout requirements. When your portal is fully configured, you will receive a unique Website address (e.g. http://www.yourname.ekosystem.us). This site uses our portal framework as well as some other Public Portal sites listed below.

Updating Project Information
Projects on your portal are updated in real-time as you make project updates in your EKO-System database. EKO-System Portal Widgets are added to your portal pages to provide instant access to your EKO-System project data and electronic files.
Securing Projects
You choose which projects get published on the portal. Only projects designated for public view are searchable on your portal.
Mapping Your Project Data
Project mapping is provided with each portal. Our integrated Map Viewer provides a user-friendly mapping experience similar to those offered by other on-line mapping tools such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo. Our map viewer can be configured specifically for your organization and also supports integration with your organization's GIS.
Cross Browser Support
Our portals and data widgets will run on all popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
